Dear Readers,
Time is a wasting! While my garden buddies of the North are waiting to see if snow will blow through in the Northeast, I am rushing to the garden centers to find the choice vegetable plants . The tomatoes and peppers are ready to be planted at the farm. Time to uncover the beds.
I can’t wait another minute, because my favorites are running out. Leaving a lonesome, sleepy cat and empty pot holders!
I planted the new tomatoes, yellow pear from seed as well as Improved Whopper. Found Husky Cherry Red at the nursery along with too many other goodies. Dahlia tubers have arrived, and the azaleas are blooming all over Savannah.
I guess Spring is here!
I’ve really been thinking I need to plant at least one tomato bush this spring. You’re lucky to have a shared farm plot. Do you plant lettuces too?
Happy Friday.
xo,
Karen

Is your farm a community garden plot? We have 6 weeks before we can put out any tomatoes. March and April here can be cold and unpredictable. Love that cat asleep in the pot holder. 🙂

I’m already behind, forgetting to plant the peas on St Patricks Day. My wish for us will be splendid gardens this season! We’re expecting snow next week…
