A stop at Terrain in Westport provided that boost a gardener needs in early March. My terrarium had become very boring, and Terrain is the place to find those tiny plants needed to complete your under glass wonderland.
Easter and Spring are in full swing at this wonderful garden shop/eatery/nursery.
Tovah Martin’s book, The New Terrarium is well illustrated with beautiful photos and lots of important information on how to get started with a terrarium. I recommend a reading before you go to a place like Terrain, so you will know what you are looking for, or ask one of their very knowledgeable staff – so friendly and willing to assist!
The bunny’s so cute! Love those little tiny plants. I’m still working on getting a terrarium – but the next time I see one, I won’t pass it by!
I love the look of those teeny plants, like Holley keep planning to get a terrarium, but haven’t got round to it yet. That shop looks wonderful, don’t know of anything like that round here.
